Arielle began her dance training at Bucks County Dance Center under the Henriques Program where she gained a strong foundation in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, lyrical, hip hop and acrobatics.
During her time with the Henriques Program, Arielle branched out to other dance programs including University of the Arts Pre-College Dance Program, The Rock School Summer Ballet Intensive and the Radio City Rockettes Summer Dance Intensive at Radio City Music Hall. Upon graduation from the Program, Arielle studied Musical Theater and Dance at Pace University in NYC. At Pace, Arielle trained under numerous industry instructors in a wide variety of styles gaining skill, confidence, and leadership qualities. While living in NYC, she was able to use her free time to train at Broadway Dance Center to continue to improve her art. She worked professionally as a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader, dance ensemble at West Virginia Public Theater and dancer for Confetti Entertainment in Atlantic City, NJ.
After gaining experience, Arielle returned to BCDC to share her experiences, knowledge, and passion with the next generation of dancers. Arielle's classes consist of a technical and athletic warm-up to create a strong and centered dancer. She believes in creating a kind, positive and accepting environment where each dancer can build confidence while improving their art.

Mayah’s love for dance started at the age of 3 years old and has been growing ever since! She grew up studying ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, Acro, musical theater, contemporary, lyrical, and hip hop here at BCDC.  It wasn’t long before Mayah began branching out to expose herself to a variety of studios, teachers, styles, and opportunities that taught her about different class structures along with the importance of individuality and expression. In 2021 Mayah landed her first professional gig as a Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleader. As of right now, Mayah is dancing for the Philadelphia 76ers. Mayah has also performed in the New York City Thanksgiving Day parade, competed in a World of Dance competition, modeled for costume gallery, performed on Good Morning America and much more. 
One of Mayah’s strongest qualities is the ability to instill passion, motivation, and energy into her students. She believes that dance is more than just ability, but the dedication, passion, and unique personality you demonstrate to become the best dancer you can be.

Kelli received her Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Buffalo. After completing her college degree, she pursued a professional career in the dance and entertainment industry. Kelli performed in numerous productions, variety shows and musical theater venues as a featured dancer. Some of her productions involved performing in New York, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and Michigan (Mackinaw) Her career as a performer has even taken her to China, where she toured Beijing and Shanghai. Kelli has also performed as a magician’s assistant and has been a spokesmodel for various product campaigns in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In 2008, Kelli began working as an instructor and choreographer at BCDC. She is happy and enthusiastic to continue to be involved in dance.  Her passion now is to inspire her students with her creative guidance and training.

Emily began dance training at BCDC when she was 3 years old and continued until she graduated from Bensalem High School. Emily moved onto join the West Chester University dance company for the 2020 school year. After graduating with her bachelor’s degree in psychology, she had the opportunity to return to BCDC as a teacher. Now Emily is studying for her master’s degree in social work, and she loves being able to teach tap in the place that she learned it!!

Emily has been dancing ever since she was 2 years old. Bucks County Dance Center was her studio home for 8 years before she went on to compete at dance competitions. She has won numerous stand out awards for performance, as well as group and solo first places. She competed with her studio team until she graduated high school, and then went on to be a part of the Temple Diamond Gems Dance Team where she specialized in tricks and tumbling. She danced at all the home Temple football and basketball games and competed at the Universal Dance Association in the D1 competitive level. Although her performing journey is over, her love of dance is still strong in teaching acrobatics. Her artistic abilities travel far beyond dancing, as now she owns her own business as a tattoo artist at soul studios!

Tanaisha, best known as “Miss Nay” is originally from northeast Philadelphia. She’s going on her fourth year at Bucks County Dance Center. She is a proud alumnus from Temple University, where she received her bachelor’s in fine arts, and was a part of the Temple College Dance team where they competed nationally. During her studies, she had the pleasure to choreograph and perform an original piece at the American College Dance Association, alongside performing at many theaters in the Philadelphia area. Since graduating she has obtained her state license in Massage therapy and is actively practicing sports massage. Currently she is teaching Jazz and Hip-hop at BCDC and choreographing both recreational and competitive level dances. She loves nothing more than sharing her love for dance with the next generation. 

Rex and Sandy - BCDC Directors
Rex has toured the world training and teaching, bringing his talents back to his hometown providing the community with a place for dancers to come together to get a wonderful dance education. After earning his BFA in Ballet at the University of the Arts, Rex returned to his Alma Mater teaching dance in the Musical Theater program at The University of the Arts. Rex continues to inspire the younger generation of dancers at BCDC with his classic teaching style loved by so many!
Sandy’s love of music and children led her to her passion for teaching. As a professionally trained singer, Sandy owns and operates the Bensalem Kid’s Music Round franchise, teaching parent participation music and movement classes to families with children ages birth-5 as well as teaching and managing the children’s program here at BCDC. Rex and Sandy are proud to provide an environment of acceptance and love allowing our dancers to express their love of dance and come together as a dance community.
